Postgraduate programmes
Tuition fees 2012/13
Postgraduate programmes are made up of a series of modules. Modules have variable credit ratings and are accumulated towards an award:
Postgraduate Certificate (PgCert) = 60 credit points
Postgraduate Diploma (PgDip) = 120 credit points
Masters (e.g MSc, MA) = normally 180 credit points
Credit points are cumulative so if you complete a Postgraduate Diploma (120 credit points) you only require a further 60 credits for the Masters award (180 credits). Students may exit at different points in most programmes (dependent on course regulations) and obtain a Postgraduate Certificate or Postgraduate Diploma, as long as they have successfully accumulated the required number of credit points.
