Maybe you want a job when you graduate.  Most students do.  What if, during the course of your studies, you have a brilliant business idea?  How can you convert that into something that you can make a success of?

We take this very seriously.  In this section you can read about our research strengths (and it is research that translates ideas into products and actions) and about how we teach you to think like an entrepreneur.  We are also very serious about technology transfer - how we turn those products and actions into money-making businesses and help those businesses through the difficult early stages.

Research is also an end in itself.  You might be interested in adding to what is known about your specific area of interest.  We'll help you do that, through taught postgraduate and research study.
