DescriptionThis module will provide new and synthesise existing knowledge and skills necessary to understand the impact of chemicals on organisms in the environment in order to regulate the use of chemicals. The concept of toxicity testing will be addressed and the benefit of this to the development of environmental quality standards will be explored. Knowledge is provided in lectures, skills developed during online presentations and practical demonstrations.
